Big State Solutions, LLC was founded by Louden Greiner, PMP, PSP on a skill he'd been practicing his entire career: taking large, complex project information and turning it into clear, organized plans and reports that people can actually use. It's the same problem artificial intelligence is now built to solve — work Louden was doing by judgment and discipline years before the tools existed.
That instinct was earned, not handed down. He learned his work ethic from his father on an Alaskan fishing boat as a boy, then worked his way up from the laborer ranks into the project controls office. He spent his twenties in what amounted to a project-controls boot camp — remote job sites, twelve-hour days, 300-plus days a year — alongside a top-tier team that lived and breathed schedule, including mentors who still ran the forward and backward pass by hand. From there he moved into owner-side roles with many of the top oil & gas operators, then took his experience on the road, supporting projects in every corner of the country.
Through all of it, one passion held: simplifying project controls and delivering real value to the people who get the work done — from the project manager to the field hand. He started Big State Solutions to give that hard-won knowledge back, the way his own mentors once did for him.
